University of Management and Economics (UME) in Kampot Branch is committed to educating students with quality, competency, and morality in both national and international context. UME, Kampot Branch specializes in the following Faculties; Business and Tourism, Arts, Humanities and Languages, Science and Technology, Laws and Economics, Agriculture and Rural Development and General English Programs (GEPs) and English for Professionals (ESPs).
UME is now looking for dynamic and experienced Cambodians and international lecturers to fill the following positions based in Kampot province:
- Lecturers’ full time and part time for the above faculties for the academic year 2013-2014
- Full time Cashier (1 position)
- Full time Supervisor of Customer Service Clerk (2 position)
- Full time Cleaners (2 positions)
Duties and Requirements:
1. Part time and full time Cambodian and foreign lecturers
Job Description: Prepare course and reference books; course syllabus; teach 48 hours per subject including exams, exercise, work home and assignment.
Requirements: Attainment of a Master Degree in relevant field, at least seven years teaching and working experience; fluency in written and spoken English.
Job Description: The Cashier shall be the custodian of cash for the various accounts and he/she shall be responsible for all cash disbursements and cash receipts, report to Accountant and Deputy Director, in charge of Admin and Finance, work closely with the Accountant, prepare all payment vouchers and supporting documents, make cash payments for all expenses, receive education payments, daily cash transaction records, accounts receivable control and report to Accountant, count cash at the end of the day and prepare the Daily Cash Position Report, make cash balances with the cash account balance and reconcile any difference.
Requirement: Attainment of bachelor degree with major in accounting and finance, at least one year work experience in cash operations within an accounting and finance area, ability to operate desktop computers under Microsoft Word and Excel and Quick Book software, ability to write and speak in Khmer and English languages.
3. Supervisor of Customer Service
Job Description: Provide updated education information to all students and the public, maintain good relationship with students and staff, supervise all receptionists, and report daily information to Management Committee.
Requirements: Attainment of Bachelor degree in Marketing or other related field, able to use MS Office; good communication skills both writing and speaking English (Khmer and English); good interpersonal skills and problem solving, committed and passionate person, report directly to Deputy Director, in charge of Admin and Finance.
Job Description: Maintain everyday cleanliness of all facilities including all classrooms, offices and garden…etc, management of wastes and materials, prepare and maintain all university logistics, prepare necessary materials for guests, staff for daily work, prepare necessary materials for all meetings and workshop, report daily to Administration Head. Requirements: Can read and write Khmer, being environmental clean attitude, honest and able to work full time 6 day per week.
